The area I was in looked untidy and in need of a clean, possibly because it was the end of the day. This however did not detract from the great care I received.

I am delighted with the medical care that I have received for a total knee replacement, heart treatment, bladder cancer and stomach cancer. Everyone worked very hard to ensure that I have been treated with a professional touch.

The whole process was well handled from initial consultation to discharge (Angiogram) The only problem was the wait for the start of the actual procedure on the day 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with little feedback supplied.

Cardiology outpatients - The staff were clean tidy and all very friendly and helpful. Kept me updated on progress whilst waiting to see the Consultant. The environment was light, airey, pleasantly decorated and furnished. Clinic waiting areas, treatment rooms and toilets used were all clean and tidy. The area around the hosptital main entrance was very busy with people and as a result looked a bit scruffy. Parking facilities were good but in common with a lot of hospitals prices were high especially if you were there for a few hours.

I was very impressed with all staff involved with the well being of my daughter as the patient and myself as a parent whilst there.

CITU - cleanliness is 100%, general wards not quite so, old fashioned, but this is not the nurses fault, more the hospitals. However, this is really only the moot point, nursing, care and everything else is 100%+
